Here is an informational flyer you can download to distribute or post for your students. Students will have a one week window (February 5 February 12, 2021) to record their piano performance and upload to the MusicFirst web based program for music evaluations. There will be NO IN-PERSON festivals this year. Rose but for 2021, all NYSSMA solo festivals will be held virtually. Students will be asked to complete a commitment form.ĭecide which students you would like to invite to participate. This festival is usually held at The College of St. Nominate any of your students who you think would appreciate this experience! This is an opportunity to include your advanced students as well as your dedicated students who may not have normally participated in All County.įees can be paid through BOCES Arts in Ed and are aid-able. Students will be assigned a workshop time based on school grade and ability level. Sessions will run approximately 60 – 90 minutes. Students will be assigned a specific time slot. These workshops have been designed to be as interactive as possible- student performance is encouraged! Number of students in each workshop will depend on registration and clinician availability.** **Please note, these are not master classes. Repertoire preparation: NYSSMA solos, school ensemble literature, and more! What: Interactive personalized workshops tailored to ability level of students. Students are encouraged to perform during these workshops, but they may also audit. NYSSMA participation is not a prerequisite. Virtual workshops are open to students of all ability levels. Workshops are available for all instruments, voice types,īand, Chorus, and Orchestra students in grades 5 – 12.
